Labor Day Weekend...

Hello world its me again today im just going to tell you about my wonderful weekend. Well in my opinion it was wonderful.Thursday night my boyfriend and my brother picked me up from my apartment and thats when all the fun started. It had been a month since I seen my boyfriend so that was one reason why I was so happy. Friday I spent time with my cousins we went out to eat and watched a couple of movies so that was very relaxing since I have been working so hard at school for the past three weeks. Also on Friday me and my boyfriend made three years and seven months. Yea i kno thats a long time for two teenagers but...Saturday I spent all day with him he took me to take care of a few things then we spent the rest of the day just hanging out. He took me to this japanese resteraunt and afterwards we went to the movies with my cousin and her boyfriend so that was fun. Everytime all four of us are together we act as if we are back in middle school. So Saturday was a very fun day. Sunday was a lounge day my boyfriend came over and took me to the grocery store then we went back to my moms house and watched some movies and slept. So thats always fun spending time with him. Monday was just a traveling day so it was boring. I woke up at 8am and got back to school at 3pm. After that I slept for the remainder of the day...Yep so that was my awesome weekend. Thanks for reading...Two fingers up and im out=)

Random Post

Hello world I haven't blogged in about a week now I been so busy trying to adjust to this college life that i forgot all about blogging. It crossed my mind a few times but i was always doing something else at the time. But I'm really starting to like college its very laid back and not so stressful like high school well at least that's what I think. High school there was always some type of pressure whether it was preparing for the graduation test or simply preparing for a regular class assessment the teachers seemed to stress more. But in college your basically on your own you can take in the knowledge your professor is trying to do or you can just ignore it that's up to you. My suggestion would be to listen and contain as much information as possible cause what they are telling you is only for your benefit. College is what you make it so your experience may not be the same as others. Anyway as I said in the title this was just a random post so if i switched subjects you know why. Thanks for reading...Two fingers up and im out:)

Okay as you can see I'm new to this whole blogging thing, never thought i would make one cause i never really understood it before. But now thanks to my English 1101 teacher I have decided to create one and i notice its sort of like twitter and facebook with a few differences. Well I don't really think I will stick to one topic on here its sort of just going be about me or whatever i feel like writing that day. I know my first blog wasn't usually what people do as their first blog but it was something we were discussing in English class so i decided to blog about it. Anyway I really excited about this so Here We Go...:)

Reflection on Steve Johnson article...

Today I read an article titled "How the E-book Will Change the Way We Read and Write" by Steve Johnson. In his article Johnson focuses on the pros and cons of the E-book. Throughout the article there are times when Johnson sort of contradicts him self. Overall it is a very interesting article as well as informative depending on the persons whom is reading it. It made me think of E-books in a different way i never really thought about something as simple as an electrical book could possibly in the future have an impact on how we write. However i did know that it would change the way we read but i didn't think about the negative impact until I read Johnson's article. I believe Johnson purpose for writing this article is to get his audience to think and realize how technology is taking over in ways that we don't necessarily think of. Overall I enjoyed this article more than i thought i would.
